Will Tyron Woodley finally get his shot at the title? That still remains to be seen.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White promised top welterweight contender Tyron Woodley he would be next in line for a shot at the 170-pound crown, an offer designed to deaden the pain of getting stranded by Johny Hendricks last month in Houston, Texas.

I’m sure “The Chosen One” has nothing to worry about.

That’s probably why he’s keeping himself busy on the sidelines and not volunteering for any extra work inside the cage. After all, Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit get crackin’ in less than two months (details), so we should expect to see Woodley back in action by early-to-mid 2016.

Barring any injuries, of course.
