It wasn’t pretty, and it’s unlikely to occupy much space on his highlight reel, but Evan Dunham outlasted fellow lightweight Gleison Tibau and picked up a split-decision victory.
Dunham simply soldiered through fatigue and finished strong to win over two of the night’s three judges.
The lightweight bout closed out the preliminary card of Saturday’s UFC 156 event at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. It aired on FX after additional prelims on Facebook and prior to the pay-per-view main card.
