This fight, I’m anxious to get in there and get it done, said Wineland. To me, the WEC always was the UFC for the little guys. The only difference for me is putting on a set of black gloves, and you get a few more feet to run around in.
It’s a match up of former champion versus former champion. Faber held the 145-pound title for nearly two years from spring 2006 until late 2008. He made his bantamweight debut at WEC 52 in November. The UFC 128 fight will be his second time competing in the bantamweight division.
