The revolving opponent door has swung once again for Efrain Escudero. Originally slated to face John Gunderson at Ultimate Fight Night in Austin, TX on Sept. 15.; after Mac Danzig was forced to withdraw from the co-main event versus Matt Wiman, Escudero was pulled to replace Danzig.
However, with the recent news of Matt Wiman breaking his arm Escudero was left without an opponent, Gunderson has already been matched with Yves Edwards. UFC match maker, Joe Silva, has saved the day once again by pairing Charles Oliveira with Escudero.
Charles Oliveira (13-0) recently made his UFC debut at UFC on Versus 2.
