Why Myles Jury is not impressed with MMA media

Myles Jury went 9-0 and got on TUF. There he went 1-1 in exhibition bouts, and got into the UFC where he won six more in a row.

Then he lost to Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, dropped to featherweight, and lost to Charles Oliveira. In other words, to the average UGer, he sucks.

However, Fury bounced back on Saturday at UFC 210, with a first round TKO of Mike De La Torre. So now to the average UGer he doesn’t suck again.

Afterward, Fury spoke about it all with Steven Marrocco and John Morgan for MMAjunkie.

One thing I love about this sport, but one thing I also hate, is you’re only as good as a win or a loss, said Jury. So if I lost right now, you guys would be talking to Mikey right now, and my ass would be back, f***ing crying in the back.

Or maybe not crying. But Fury wasn’t excited about talking with an MMA media that only wants to talk with him when he wins.

I really don’t like talking to the media, said Jury, smiling. It’s not like I don’t like you guys; it’s just that I don’t really care, man. I really don’t give a s*** to sit here and be like, ‘Myles Jury, Myles Jury.’
