Why is Chael Sonnen calling out Rich Franklin?

For many weeks Chael Sonnen has been tweeting that Wanderlei Silva might pull out of their fight in the TUF Brazil Finale.

And now Sonnen is calling out Rich Franklin, who has not fought since a loss to Cung Le in 2012.

So what does it mean?
It could be the obvious, that Wand has pulled out of the fight, but Sonnen is a team player and would likely wait for the UFC to make the announcement. It could be that Sonnen is prudently lining up a replacement, should Wand withdraw from the fight. It could be Chael Sonnen is just having fun, getting people to ask what he is doing.
Right now, what this all means no one is quite sure, a frequent feeling when MMA is in Chael’s world.
