White: Wanderlei a slave ‘of his own doing’
Dana White: “Anything that’s happening to ]Wanderlei Silva], Wanderlei brought on himself. I know it, you know it, and everyone else knows it.”
At the post-fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 62, Dana White was asked about recent comments Wanderlei Silva made about the UFC and his time there. Silva called his time in the UFC a kind of slavery, and White responded that if he felt that way, it was of his own doing:
Wanderlei Silva ran from a drug test, White said. He ran from a drug test. If he’s a slave, he’s a slave of his own doing. He did this to himself. The UFC didn’t do anything to Wanderlei Silva. They actually treated Wanderlei Silva very well.
