White: ‘Very, very, very’ good chance Lesnar returns

Earlier this week, UFC President Dana White got fans and media buzzing with a post on Instagram featuring himself and former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Lesnar hasn’t fought since his July 2016 versus Mark Hunt, a bout he won on fight night but that was later turned to a no-contest after failing a USADA drug test.
The Instagram post was vague at best, only featuring a picture of the two together with a classic Dana White caption, a simple smiley face:
Most fans and media speculated it meant that Lesnar could be returning to the UFC, and White himself confirmed the news while appearing on the Happy Hours radio shows on Sirius XM. When White was asked if Lesnar would be returning to the UFC, he replied succinctly they were ‘very, very, very’ good.
What that actual means for a return for Lesnar is still up in the air. Lesnar was suspended one year by USADA and would likely need to rejoin the USADA testing pool for at least six months before being allowed to return. Lesnar’s return would be a huge win fall the UFC who has been lacking drawing power since Rousey’s exit from the UFC and with McGregor sitting out for over a year.
