White to offer Diaz a fight
Dana White: “I’ve got to look the rankings, see where everybody is. I will make Nate Diaz an offer to fight today.”
UFC welterweight the great Nate Diaz recently indicated he wanted to return to the Octagon. UFC president Dana White told TMZ that he would oblige, but questions remain about the opponent. The money fight for Diaz is a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor. Second to that would be a title shot vs. division champion Tyron Woodley. Neither is apparently on offer,
I’ll tell you what, I’ll call him today and make him an offer, said White. I’ve got to look the rankings, see where everybody is. I will make Nate Diaz an offer to fight today.

Either title shot is apparently out withTony Ferguson fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Conor McGregor who knowsing, but maybe fighting the winner, by which point he will have been stripped of the belt.
The reality is there’s real guys like Rafael dos Anjos, guys in line waiting for that fight, said White. There’s so many guys that deserve that fight before Nate does and they’re gonna get it.
The trilogy fight too is apparently not going to happen soon.
I think people would rather see Conor come back and either fight Tony or Khabib, whoever wins, said White. The Nate Diaz fight isn’t going anywhere. We can do that thing any time.
Both #3 Eddie Alvarez and #7 Kevin Lee have indicated interest in the fight. However, neither fight will make Diaz millions, so his best bet might be to keep training and enjoying life and wait for the trilogy fight.
