The UFC Pound for Pound top 10 currently lists UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey at #9, having just switched places with Johny Hendricks, who is now #10:

1. Jon Jones

2. Jose Aldo

3. Cain Velasquez

4. Demetrious Johnson

5. Chris Weidman

6. Anthony Pettis

7. Anderson Silva

8. Renan Barao

9. Ronda Rousey

10. Johny Hendricks

11. TJ Dillashaw

12. Vitor Belfort

13. Benson Henderson

14. Alexander Gustafsson

15. Gilbert Melendez

In the latest UFC.com Download, UFC president Dana White said Rousey should be ranked higher, and that she is not due to her sex.

“She’s higher than number nine in the pound-for-pound,” said White. “She’s undefeated, she’s finished every fight in devastating fashion, but it’s still a man’s world, man. The media is never going to put her higher up in the rankings. The media decides it, and Ronda, being a woman, has had to fight harder. If there was a guy that was on the streak that Ronda was on, he’d be the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world, like that. But because she’s a woman, these guys aren’t going to give her the credit she deserves.”

White recently said Rousey would hurt Floyd Mayweather Jr bad in a street fight. When the prize fighter was asked about Rousey earlier this week he said “I don’t know who he is.”

White said Mayweather’s had no other choice.

“What’s Floyd going to say?” said White. “That’s a lose-lose situation for Floyd. For him to even acknowledge that he knows who Ronda is, and that she could possibly beat him in a fight, ya know, that’s what I’d expect him to say.”
