White responds to colossal dirtbag Bob Arum

Boxing’s leading promoter Bob Arum has long maintained an adversarial relationship with MMA, saying the sport is junk, the fans are skinheads, and the fighters have got to be homosexual. It’s like a dinosaur insisting that the glowing bright light in the sky is a divine sign from the heavens.

Arum’s stupidity is colossal. In his latest remarks, he went after the UFC over PEDs. The promoter is utterly irresponsible, and does 0 testing for PEDs. The UFC has initiated what some consider to be the most thorough testing on earth, and they are catching a tiny percentage of the 600 or so fighters under contract. Arum catches none, and the day of PED tests that Athletic Commissions use with professional boxers are more an IQ test than a means of keeping PEDs out of combat sports.

Yet he has the audacity to argue that MMA is unconcerned about PED use.

I don’t think (drug testing) is particularly necessary as far as fighters are concerned, said Arum said. Most fighters obey the rules. It’s probably more necessary in MMA because they appear to be unconcerned with the testing. What the hell? As long as the tests come out after the fight, right? Everybody’s collecting money. Just saying. just saying.

You’ve got MMA, just sold for billions of dollars. Good luck to them. And for some reason they can buy off lobbyists so they’re not subject to the Muhammad Ali Act like promoters are in boxing – just saying.

Arum also took issue with UFC president Dana White speaking at the Republican National Convention in favor of Donald Trump for President.

In boxing, we have a lot of minorities, African-American, Hispanics, Jewish promoters, people like that, said Arum. And pretty much, we’re Democrats. MMA people they’re for Trump. You ever look at an MMA audience? Of course they’re for Trump.

White was not impressed.

Does anyone give a s*** about Bob Arum or what he thinks? texted White. I didn’t know he was still alive!!?

White also recalled that Arum had predicted the failure of the UFC when it was acquired by Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta for $2,000,000. The brothers teamed up with White, gave him 10% of the company, and then sunk tens of millions more, before turning it around.

I remember a bitter, fat, red, alcohol-abuse-faced Arum chirping about the ‘oodles of money’ the Fertittas were going to lose on the UFC, said White. Arum is the biggest dirtbag in all of sports. I look forward to sticking around and continuing to kick his ass in every aspect of our business.

The UFC recently sold for over $4,000,000,000, the largest sale in sports history. So MMA gets the last laugh.
