Prior to UFC 167, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone had expressed interest in a drop to the featherweight division after his entire career at lightweight. Cerrone is a fairly well-sized lightweight and one person who doesn’t believe the drop would benefit him is UFC President Dana White:
The kid is shredded. He doesn’t have an ounce of fat on his body. He has grueling cuts at 155. There’s no way he should cut to 145. Not that this kid listens to anything I f-ing tell him to do anyway, but I don’t like it, and I don’t want him to do it.
