While he couldn’t say much about the subject, UFC president Dana White is not taking the lawsuit lightly despite was Bellator’s legal counsel might think.

“This is a really serious lawsuit for me against these guys, really serious,” White stated recently. “So I don’t really want to talk too much about it.”

One big question that’s been raised separately from the lawsuit is the status of Pavia’s group of fighters currently involved in the UFC. Todd Brown, who was a late replacement to face Tim Boetsch at UFC 117 this weekend, is a fighter represented by Pavia, as is popular welterweight Chris Lytle.

“His fighters are under contract,” said White, indicating that the lawsuit would not affect their status.

The UFC president has never been silent when it came to speaking about dealing with certain agents or managers in the world of MMA, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be sending Pavia a Christmas card this year.

“I’m not, and never have been a fan,” White responded about Pavia. “Bad guy.”
