White not sure if Nick and Nate Diaz will fight again
Dana White: “[Nate Diaz] doesn’t need to fight in 2017 – the guy made a lot of money.”

During a special episode of Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour, Nate Diaz discussed his two fights with UFC lightweight champion Conor McGegor. Diaz won the first fight at UFC 196 on March 5, 2016 via Tapout in Round 2, winning fight of the night and submission of the year. In the second fight McGregor at UFC 202 on August 20, 2016, McGregor won a Majority Decision. It, too, won fight of the night.
“I never ever said I was waiting for a third fight with Conor McGregor, said Diaz as transcribed by MMA Fighting. I never said that. People think what they wanted and said that I wanted another fight with Conor. I already whipped Conor’s f***in’ ass. He should want a fight with me. I gotta light a fire up under his ass?
Conor is a f***ing bitch. He f***ing got his ass whooped, he got choked. And now he’s justifying it because the decision went to him because the company wanted it to go to him. If I get my f***ing ass whooped by somebody, I don’t just win a slight decision and then accept it as a win. So the real champ is right here.
He’s the f***ing bitc. You’re the f***ing bitch, Conor. You f***ing got your ass whipped and you’re running around like, ‘I’m the two-belt champion, I overcame adversity.’ I’m like when? When you were quitting in that second fight? In the third round, he was making sounds like, ‘Ugh, ugh.’
He’s like crying, you know what I’m saying? When you’re a fighter, you understand. You know when somebody is being a little bitch.
I don’t want a f***ing third fight. F*** Conor. He can f***ing fight himself.
A TMZ stringer caught up with UFC president Dana White, and asked about Diaz’s statements.
“The UFC has nothing to do with the decision of the outcome of fights,” said White. “So … crazy talk!”
The UFC boss was asked to comment on Diaz’s statement that it did not appear as if he would fight in 2017. “He’s probably good.”
“He doesn’t need to fight in 2017 – the guy made a lot of money,” said White.
Lastly, White was asked when the Diaz brothers will fight again.
“I don’t know if those guys will ever fight again, said White. We offer them fights all the time.
We offer fights and they turn them down. I don’t know what he wants. That’s up to them. That they want to fight next week or if they never want to fight again, that’s up to them. Not up to me.
They don’t seem like they want to fight, no. Either one of them.
The Diaz brothers have both said they want to fight, but they want to be well compensated. Hopefully the brothers and White come to terms soon.
