The UFC has a problem, and his name is Conor McGregor. He’s 50 Veyrons in your garage, but they won’t drive. The last time the lightweight champ entered the Octagon was November 12, 2016. Instead of defending his belt, he boxed Floyd Mayweather. Now he’s mulling over a number of fights in the Octagon, but a rematch with Mayweather would by far be the most lucrative option, in the ring or cage.

Mayweather recently took part in a paid social media project where he enters a cage wearing MMA gloves. McGregor recently said if Mayweather doesn’t enter the Octagon, he will regret it for the rest of his life.

UFC president Dana White appeared recently on UFC Tonight and said that MayMac 2 is fine, but not under The Marquess of Queensberry Rules.

White also said a Brock Lesnar return is possible.
