UFC President Dana White confirmed things are moving in the right direction for GSP during the pre-fight press conference for UFC 149, saying, He’s training, and as far as I know, everything is good. I haven’t heard anything negative out of that camp at all. It’s all positive.

Condit (28-5) scored the interim title by defeating Nick Diaz earlier this year, and has stayed true to his word in wanting to wait to face St-Pierre (22-2). The UFC is putting in a backup plan in case something happens, as Martin Kampmann and Johny Hendricks are slated for the co-headliner in a #1 contender match.
