UFC President Dana White appeared recently on Dave Farra and Jason Mahoney’s Dave and Mahoney show.

White was upbeat on the state of the heavyweight division.

“There’s so many new up-and-coming guys right now, which is very exciting, Said White. “‘Bigfoot’ Silva looked good in his last fight so yes, the heavyweight division looks awesome.”

White revealed he spoke recently with former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

“He’s done,” related White. “He called me a couple days ago. He’s never coming back. He just said he can wrestle, but he can’t fight. He was contemplating coming back.”

When asked whether he ever tried to make a Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko fight, White laughed and said that he “maybe” tried to make the bout. He added that Fedor “isn’t coming out of retirement. He’s done too.”
