White announces 35 cards in 2014, at least

UFC president Dana White appeared on “FOX Sports Live” Wednesday night, and laid out a blueprint for the company’s plans for 2104. The UFC did 32 events in 2012, and will hold 33 in 2014. Plans are for at least 35 in 2014.

The shows break down into:

•14 cards on FOX Sports 1;

•13 cards on pay-per-view;

•4 cards on FOX; and,

•4 cards on FOX Sports 2.

Other announcements included:

•UFC on FOX 10 will be at the United Center in Chicago, IL, on January 25;

•UFC 169 on Super Bowl Saturday takes place February 1 in Newark, NJ; and,

•UFC 170 wil be at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV, on February 22.

No fights were announced for any of the cards.
