Where’s Wes Simms?

Big Wes Simms, one of the most colorful characters worldwide, in a remarkably colorful sport, has been conspicuous for his absence on TUF 10. With a height nearing seven feet, a penchant for stomping on the heads of future UFC champions, and a style that is all his own, he would seem a natural object for the ubiquitous TUF cameras. On a show where the cameras relentlessly track the heights (or the depths depending on your point of view) of human antics, the relegation of Simms to the status of an elephant wearing red sneakers in a cherry tree has engendered puzzlement and speculation among the hard core fan base.
