Werdum offers different kind of response to McGregor

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor accepted his World MMA Award by verbally attacking heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum.
“You got the heavyweight champion, who’s a p****, pulling out with a sore toe,” said McGregor. “How is the heavyweight champion going to pull out with a sore toe? What kind of champion is that? The game is on its knees, so, I apologize I can’t be there at the awards, but I am out here putting it in, working, putting in the true work, the work it takes to keep every one of yous fed. So thank you, and thank me.”
The crowd then erupted with laughter and cheers.
Werdum responded too, but it wasn’t with a laugh or a cheer.

Sometimes things get lost between cultures. For example, when Chael Sonnen threatened to smack Anderson Silva’s wife in the ass, Brazilian’s naturally took offense.
But the guy on the left did it wrong.
Maybe some can say to Werdum, a great champion, “Ummm, boss, that doesn’t mean what you think it means.”
