Werdum contradicts White, says he’s ready for December return
According to last night’s report from UFC Tonight, UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum says he will be ready to fight again by the end of 2015.

At the post-fight press conference for UFC 191, UFC President Dana White told that media that the next heavyweight title fight wouldn’t take place till spring of 2016, citing that was the timetable given by champion Fabricio Werdum. However according to last night’s report from UFC Tonight, Werdum says he will be ready to fight again by the end of 2015:
According to a report from “UFC Tonight,” the UFC Heavyweight champion doesn’t want to sit around too long and definitely doesn’t expect to be on the sidelines until March 2016. That’s when UFC President Dana White declared he and Cain Velasquez would tango for a second time.
However, the management team that represents “Vai Cavalo’s” adamantly stated that he Brazilian bomber wants to return as soon as Dec. 2015, refuting claims that Werdum told White he’d prefer for a return to action in early 2016.
