The second fight on the UFC 205 PPV card featured former middleweight champion returning to the Octagon against one of the division’s top contenders Yoel ‘Solider of God’ Romero.
Yoel Romero’s lightning-quick power has always been his most dangerous weapon.
And rarely was that on more frightening display than on Saturday night.
Early in the third round of his UFC 205 middleweight matchup with Chris Weidman, Romero landed one of the most brutal running knees you’ll ever see in the Octagon. That was enough to ruin the former champion’s hometown fight and give Romero the KO victory at 24 seconds of the third round at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
