Weidman undergoes successful double knee surgery

Last month the UFC had to post-pone Chris Weidman’s title defense in May to July, so the champion could have surgery on both knees. That surgery was Tuesday and the champ is now healing well:

Reigning UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman (pictured) underwent successful surgery on both of his knees Tuesday at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
