Random drug testing is starting to become a bigger part of MMA, and although Chris Weidman had never failed a drug test, was still randomly tested by the CSAC:

Chris Weidman’s results from a random drug test administered by California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) on Nov. 21, 2014, have come back clean for any banned substances.

CSAC Executive Officer, Andy Foster, informed MMAMania.com of the good news earlier this afternoon.

Weidman will face Vitor Belfort at UFC 184, which takes place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 28, 2015. Belfort — who has failed drug tests in the past — has already been tested three times by Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) because of a conditional agreement that was ordered at a hearing last year.

All the results have come back clean, too.
