Weidman: I’ll be ready by July

Monday UFC champion Chris Weidman underwent surgery on both knees, the injuries which cause him to move his title defense to July.
Fans and media wondered if the champion could recover in time to properly defend his title, but as Ariel Helwani reported on UFC Tonight, the champ is confident:
I just talked to Chris Weidman and he said he’s doing great, already lifting and on the bike and he’d definitely be ready for July 5th.
Chris Weidman will defend his UFC middleweight title against Lyoto Machida on July 5th at UFC 175 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
