The number one and two ranked bantamweights in the world are set to do battle as WEC champion Miguel Torres and challenger Brian Bowles easily made weight for their showdown.
Marcus Hicks and Shane Roller, lightweights set to fight on the evening’s undercard, were both off on their first attempts. Hicks weighed in four pounds over, while Roller weighed in two. Hicks elected not to make a second attempt at making weight and agreed to catch weight bout. Roller made weight on his second attempt after removing his clothes. 15 percent of Hicks’ purse will go to Roller.
