Was the scuffle between Rampage and King Mo at Bellator planned?
Lawal will meet Rampage in the finals of the tournament and the animosity between the two is probably real, but this altercation may not have been.

In the main event of the night Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson knocked out Christian M’Pumbu to advance to the finals of the Bellator light heavyweigh tournament. During the post-fight, Jackson was joined in the ring by fellow finalist King Mo, and the two had a bit of an altercation:

A Sherdog journalist tweeted tonight that he spoke with Mike Mazzulli, head of the Mohegan Sun Athletic Commission:
Mohegan regulator Mike Mazzulli tells me likely no sanctions for Rampage/Mo scuffle b/c Bellator told him at weigh-ins it would happen
Both King Mo and Muhammed Lawal also wrestling professional for TNA on Spike TV and it’s not unlikely that the scuffle was a bit staged to build up hype for the fight. Regardless, the two will fight for real next month to determine the Bellator tournament champion.
