The total fight purse for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao bout was approximately $300 million, with total revenues at $500 million. Mayweather vs. McGregor will be bigger. While the revenue split is confidential, multiple reports indicate it is around 70-30 or 75-25 in Mayweather’s favor. So McGregor should make over $100 million, and Mayweather a multiple of that.

However, the fighters will also be getting in fight sponsorships, and TerezOwens.com obtained Mayweather’s sponsorship marketing kit. You can view it HERE.

The numbers are startling. If you want to be considered, it begins at $1,000,000. If you have a custom sponsorship idea, TMT will listen, if you come with $5,000,000, or more.

So if you want to be Floyd’s underwear it’s a million bucks, and it goes up quite a way from there. That’s a big step up from Rocky’s Shamrock Meats Inc. back in 1976.

Hopefully, McGregor’s management is getting just as much, or maybe more. And despite the fact that few give McGregor any chance, hopefully his team is not selling bottom of the boot sponsorships like some of Tyson’s opponent’s did 😉
