It was 15 years ago, but Watch Bruce Buffer do the introduction, John McCarthy referee the fight, as Vitor Belfort destroy David “Tank” Abbott.
It was at UFC 13 in 1997.
Belfort was in just his fourth fight, but the three previous ones had lasted just a combined 142 seconds. Tank Abbott had had ten fights, and was perhaps the most feared striker in the sport.
