On Friday night, UFC President Dana White confirmed that Frank Mir would take the place of Alistair Overeem and fight Junior dos Santos for the heavyweight title at UFC 146.
This of course lead Cain Velasquez, whom was scheduled to fight Mir, without an opponent. Speculation was that Fabricio Werdum would step in, but tonight White confirmed Velasquez’s new opponent via Twitter:

Now of course with Silva fighting Velasquez, the question is who will Roy Nelson fight, who was scheduled to fight Silva on the card? No announcement has been made yet.
