Urijah reacts to Bisping & DC picking Edgar
Urijah Faber: “Michael Bisping is being disrespectful, I find that hard to believe. Daniel Cormier’s head is still all jacked up from when Jones beat him up.”

On a recent episode of UFC Tonight, Michael Bisping and Daniel Cormier picked Frankie Edgar over Urijah Faber at UFC Fight Night 65 on 15 May on in The Philippines. Faber appeared recently on Team Alpha Male Radio and was not impressed.
Bisping is being disrespectful, I find that hard to believe, deadpanned Faber, as transcribed by Ryan C. Miller for BJPenn.com, Cormier’s head is still all jacked up from when Jones beat him up.
It doesn’t matter what anybody thinks, that’s why I’m in this sport. If it mattered what other people thought, I’d never be in this sport at all. I don’t give a crap what Bisping thinks or what Cormier thinks at all. The only way to find out who wins a fight is to fight, and that’s what we’re going to do. Do I believe I’m going to win? Of course, do I think I’m going to be faster? Yes. Have I been training my butt off for 23 years as a wrestler? Yes, and 12 years as an MMA fighter. Have I been at the top of the heap for years and the champion at 145 lbs.? Yes, so I don’t care what those guys think.
I’ve got a couple years on (Edgar) but he’s been in way more wars than I have. His head has been rattled a lot more than mine has. There’s like a gauge of when your chin goes, he’s a lot closer to that than I am. I’ve been hardly hit at all.
Bisping responded adroitely, via Twitter.
“@UrijahFaber hey no disrespect intended and none was given,” he wrote. “We were asked who wins, I gave my opinion. I respect you as a fighter, big time, and your a good guy too. If I picked you, by that logic I would of been disrespecting Edgar? Right? Not the case at all. My son and I have always enjoyed your fights and I look forward to watching you prove me wrong. Good luck with camp, you God damn cry baby.”
