From: The California Kid

It’s not too bad. If it gets any bigger then it might become a problem.

Have you gone back to the Bali club scene since your famed incident there?

Was that your last street fight? If not, where and when was?

for those who (can’t imagine anyone not knowing this) havent heard his Bali story about fighting 12 Balinese people with weapons: (1:55 mark)

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Nope haven’t been back to Bali yet but I would love to go back.

……no comment on my last street fight.

From: MM-eh

t what point as a professional fighter did you realize that you could make a living doing it, and were you planning on doing anything else (School or profession)?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

I would say after my 3rd fight I sold a couple hundred tickets, got a percentage of it and made $3000. That was a lot of money for me back then.

Favorite moment from season of TUF?

Has it ever been discussed in TAM the possibility of you guys having to fight one another?

Favorite movie?

Who is the best dancer from TAM?

Who pulls the most tail out of TAM?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Favorite moment was having both of my guys walk out to the finals. Then the Circus which unfortunately didn’t get to be seen because of the live format.

Chad has the upper had as the best dancer on TAM however Joseph thinks outside of the box

MM-eh

Have you been to Canada before? How do you feel about headlining a card in a non-traditional UFC location like Calgary?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Yeah I actually fought Ivan Menjavar there in 2005. I’m pumped about Canada but its hard because I”ve been promoting the July 7th card for 5 months. It’s going to be an amazing fight though.

PanRoastedJinx

How awesome is it to never have had to work a 9-5 job in your life?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

It’s pretty cool but it seems like I work more like 16 hours a day however it’s doing things that I enjoy. I like to stay busy.

Hong Kong Phooey

Did you LOL when Dana punked you posing on video ? 🙂

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Yeah it was pretty funny. I actually thought i looked pretty good.

Fernando Alonso

Hey Faber, is your beef with Dominic real or just for hyping the fight. Sometime you guys go at it and other time you guys seem cool with each other.

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

It’s real. We don’t really like each other

UGCTT_song2

How far do you think TJ will go in the sport?

would you ever consider going up / down in weight again?

what was your hardest fight?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

I think TJ will be a Champion someday. He has a temper but is learning to use it to his advantage.

No way I would make 125’s. I’m game for anyting above though. I’m not a person to turn down opportunities.

Jose Aldo was my hardest fight. He did some real damage to my leg

UGCTT_Winnson

Mr. Faber, you are in my top 5 fighters of all time ever, with Royce, Fedor, Couture and Abbot.

How much longer do you plan to stay in the game? What do you want to accomplish in this sport before you move on?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Thank you.

I’m not great at planning. I’ll stay in until I don’t want to do it anymore. Probably another 3-5 years

Body Shots

How disappointed were you to find out Cruz had to withdraw from the fight?

Are you making any significant changes to your camp for Barao?

Favorite thing to do outside MMA and training?

Also, have always been a huge fan and your one of my favorite fighters! Hope you sister is doing well and you get that UFC belt!!

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Thanks

I was pretty dissapointed. There was a lot of buildup for that fight. I hope it will happen soon though.

Definitely a different game plan from Barao but not too much other than that.

Hows training going for your next fight?

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

Training is going great. So nice to be home from Vegas. All the boys from Team Alpha Male are in town and we are back on our routine.

PanRoastedJinx

What does a fighter of your caliber eat for breakfast?

Question from PanRoastedJinx’s Spousal Unit. She also giggled when she asked this.

From: The California Kid

The Laws of the Ring, Author

I’m not a big breakfast guy. Usually a piece of fruit as I’m out the door. I have big dinners that last me to lunch.

From: The California Kid
