Uriah Hall ‘toe much to handle’ gallery
“Every move, I would feel my bone shift in and out of my skin,” said Uriah Hall after violently dislocating his toe in the first and fighting to a unanimous decision.

Uriah Hall went from being the “TUF Beast” that ushered a record three opponents in a row into an ambulance, to a fighter that seemed too nice to, well, fight.
After Saturday night, people can perhaps question whether Hall has a killer instinct if they want to, but no one can question his heart.
In the very first round of the fight with Thiago Marreta Santos, Hall dislocated his toe so violently that it tore the skin, and the bone poked out. The ringside doctor seemed inclined to stop the fight, but Hall’s corner insisted the toe was always bent like that. Hall kept fighting, and even kicked with the foot, eventually earning a unanimous decision.
Every move, I would feel my bone shift in and out of my skin, said Hall later.
UFC president Dana White has publicly questioned whether Hall really wants to fight, whether he was too kind a human being for this sport. But Saturday night, White was impressed.
Remember when he started moving his head and just throwing punches?” asked White as transcribed by MMAJunkie. “He was moving his head, and every punch he threw, he hit that guy with. Keep doing that. Let your f—ing hands go. You’re talented, you’re fast, you’re sharp, and you do have a good chin. Let your hands go. Be the fighter you can be. Let it go.
We had dinner together a week ago, and every four minutes I would say, ‘You’re going to let your hands go, right?’ I never do that to people. I’m not a coach. I don’t train people. I don’t tell these guys. But I just have this different relationship with Uriah. I like the kid so much. He’s the nicest human being you could ever meet.
If you’re not going after you’re dreams, you just exist.” #ufc175 #sqor #toemuchtoohandle
