UFC flyweight Ian McCall recently spoke with MMAJunkie Radio, ahead of his fight with John Lineker at UFC Fight Night 56 on Nov. 8 in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

McCall went without a win his first three fights in the UFC, but now has back to back wins, and intends to make Lineker look silly.

Comparatively to the best, the cream of the crop, all he has is the punch, said McCall as transcribed by Mike Bohn for MMAJunkie. Jiu-jitsu, I will walk all over him and in wrestling, the same thing. I think it’s a good fight. I just have to go out there and bust my ass, put on a good performance and finish him.

The guy punches hard – good for him. Technically everywhere else, he’s not very good. I had the same game plan for the past two people as Lineker: speed, numbers, and things like that. It’s not rocket science. I know and everyone else knows I’m better than him. I’ve got to put it all together and I’ll make him look silly.

I don’t know what it is, I’m going to rip off a movie, but it’s his face – I don’t like his face. There’s something about him. I’ve never liked the guy. I have zero reason, but I just didn’t like the way he looks.

He can talk all he wants, but he’s not going to trick me into playing his game. I’m going to beat you the way I’m going to beat you, and it’s not going to be that hard.

(A title shot for the winner) has been mentioned, but there have been no definite answers of, ‘Hey, you get a title shot’. It’s thought of, it’s hoped for, but I’m going to Brazil to beat up Lineker.

McCall vs. Lineker can be seen in the USA on FOX Sports 1.
