At UFC 201 in July of 2016, Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall’s opponent Justin Scoggins failed to make his contracted weight and the fight was scrapped. At UFC 203 in September opponent Ray Borg became ill and the fight was scrapped. At UFC Fight Night 99 in November, McCall was hospitalized with an illness, and the fight was scrapped. All three were at the last minute.
The latest fight was rescheduled to UFC 208 on February 11, but Seery pulled out following the death of his mother in law. McCall had one suggestion, with tongue in cheek.

However, the UFC found Uncle Creepy an opponent. Via UFC.com.
Irish veteran Neil Seery has withdrawn from his UFC 208 bout against Ian McCall in order to tend to a family issue. Stepping in for Seery in the flyweight bout on Feb. 11 will be Octagon newcomer Jarred Brooks.
Unbeaten in 11 pro fights, Brooks has finished seven of those victories before the final bell, and he is coming off a second-round knockout of Jun Nakamura in a Pancrase bout last October. In McCall, he will be facing a perennial contender returning to the Octagon for the first time since January of 2015.
Brooks, nicknamed The Monkey God, is 23 years old and fights out of Warsaw, Indiana. UFC 208 is headlined by Holly Holm vs. Germaine de Randamie for the first UFC women’s featherweight championship.
