Flyweight Ian ‘Uncle Creepy’ McCall had four UFC fights canceled in just a year, and his contract called for just 16/16, a figure he’s unwilling to fight for. So McCall was granted a release. Then he released his agent Jason House in order to self-manage, and he left longtime trainer Colin Oyama to work with Jason Parillo and Darryl Christian at RVCA in Orange County.

McCall has now entered the RIZIN bantamweight Grand Prix as a wild card, and will make his promotion debut at RIZIN FF 8 on December 29 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. If McCall wins there, he will fight again at RIZIN FF 8: World Grand Prix 2nd Round on December 31, with the semi-finals and finals taking place on one day. That’s three fights in 48 hours, under PRIDE Rules that allow soccer kicks. The good news is he says he could make $200,000 with a clean sweep.

McCall’s fight on Dec. 29 will be vs. Portugal’s Manel Kape; the announcement was made via the social network, with an aggressive fighter faceoff. During an appearance on MMAjunkie Radio, McCall made light of his first opponent.

If you’re going to talk s*** to me, at least make it in English so I can understand, said McCall, as transcribed by Steven Marrocco for MMAjunkie. Next time, at least try and kiss me or something, because that was weird and awkward.

Even if you did knock me out, there’s no way you’d be able to f*** my girlfriend. She’s really hot, and you’re a slob. So you need to f***ing relax.

I understand you’re 7-1, but let’s focus back on the fact that I think all but two or three guys have losing records, and even guys who have winning records are like 10-9 or 7-5. They’re dogs***. I can’t wait to teach this kid a lesson. I can stomp on his head; I can do some really f***ed up s*** to him. It’s going to be really fun.

Anybody who doubted me, guess what? I win, f*** you.

The tournament brackets are now:
Kyoji Horiguchi vs. TBA
Manel Kape vs. Ian McCall
Takafumi Otsuka vs. Khalid Taha
Shintaro Ishiwatari vs. Kevin Petshi
