UFN 29 ‘of the night’ awards; Palhares denied bonus

At the post-fight press conference, Marshall Zelnik announced the awards for the ‘of the night bonuses’, with each fighter pocketing an additional $50,000:

Knockout of the Night: Dong Hyun Kim

Fight of the the Night: TJ Dillashaw vs. Raphael Assuanco

Submission of the Night: Not Awarded

Most interesting note here is that Rousimar Palhares did submit Mike Pierce with a first round heel hook and would normally gave been awarded the bonus by default. However, the UFC decided to not award the bout based on unsportsmanlike behavior by Palhares, who held onto this submission after the tap by Pierce and the first indication by the referee to stop.
