“It will be in terms of where the fans are coming from.”
The card, of course, is heavy on Canadian talent, including co-headliners Georges St-Pierre and Mark Hominick. Ten fighters come from the country, and the remaining 14 come from the U.S., Brazil and Belarus.
No Canadians are matched up against each other.
“It just played out that way,” Wright said. “I think that at the beginning when this fight was announced, every single (Canadian) fighter who was one of our UFC fighters wanted to be on this card.
