UFC unofficially cuts 12, including Dan Miller
The UFC apparently has released 12 fighters from their contract, including Dan Miller, Ildemar Alcantara, Tom Watson, Igor Araujo, and Royston Wee.
Fighters are released from the UFC roster via a call from Joe Silva. At the start of the every month, the UFC’s public roster is changed to reflected the new line up, giving a reasonably reliable picture of who is out.
Japan’s UFiN runs a ruby script and tweets who has been cut.
Light Heavyweight:
Hans Stringer (lost last two)
Middleweight:
Dan Miller (older brother of Jim Miller, seven year vet of the UFC, lost four of the last five)
Ildemar Alcantara (lost four of the last five)
Tom Watson (lost four of the last five)
Welterweight:
Andrew Craig (lost four of the last five)
Igor Araujo (lost last two)
Lightweight:
Anthony Christodoulou (lost last two)
Yosdenis Cedeno (lost three of last four)
Featherweight:
Niklas Backstrom (lost last two)
Bantamweight:
Cody Gibson (lost last two)
Royston Wee (had two fights then fought in the UFC, winning two in a row. Missed weight, lost, and was cut)
Flyweight:
Darrell Montague (lost last three)
