UFC to decide on Brock this week

According to Dave Meltzer, Dana White stated that Brock Lesnar will be seeing a specialist to determine how well his intestine has recovered based on dietary changes. If he gets a good report, he could return to fighting in a few months. If he gets a bad report, that would mean surgery, and White stated that Lesnar would likely be out for two-years at that point. Depending on Lesnar’s status, the company will make an announcement regarding the heavyweight title. Frank Mir vs. Shane Carwin at UFC 111 could simply be for an Interim Title, but if Lesnar gets surgery, the bout will then be to crown a new heavyweight champion.
