‘UFC: The Time is Now’ press conference updates
Tomorrow the UFC will hold a special press conference in Las Vegas with Dana white and feature several UFC champions and number one contenders.
Today the UFC held a special press conference in Las Vegas with Dana White and featured several UFC champions and number one contenders. The UFC began teasing the event in early November and had already announced that it will unveil the entire 2015 schedule at this event. The press conference begab at 5:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM PT and was aired live from UFC.com, embedded here on the Underground.
We provide updates of the press conference as it occurred as far as announcement went. The press conference turned into a Q&A between members of the media and Dana White and the fighters in attendance. Any interesting news will be covered in separate stories by the UG News.
5:07 PM Jon Anik opens the press conference and announces it’s entire 2015 schedule. The UFC will hold 45 events in 2015. Thirteen events will air live on PPV, four events on FOX, eighteen events on Fox Sports, and ten events exclusive to UFC Fight Pass. The location of each event has not yet been determined, but the UFC will continue to hold events across the world and debut some new locations in 2015.

5:19 PM Jon Anik welcomes UFC President Dana White to the stage
5:20 PM White announces the main event for UFC Fight Night in Colorado will be Matt Brown vs. Tarec Saffiedine. White asks for questions from the media.
5:21 PM The first reporter asks White what the big announcement is. White tells everyone that they didn’t get it done in time and no announcement would be made.
5:21 PM White opens the event to questions from the media.
