Top Swedish lightweight prospect Reza Madadi (11-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has signed a multi-fight deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and is expected to make a January debut.
MMAjunkie.com confirmed the signing, which was first reported by MMAViking.com, with UFC officials.
Madadi is expected to make his debut at January’s UFC on FX 1 event, though his opponent has yet to be officially determined. Brazilian vet Rafaello Oliveira (14-5 MMA, 1-4 UFC) is said to be a leading candidate.
