What is mixed martial arts without trash talk? Take it away from Conor McGregor and you have a straight left. Take it away from Chael Sonnen and you have a guy who is 3-5 since 2010. It’s our ketchup, mustard, A-1 sauce, and spice.

The Ultimate Fighter 25: Redemption is coached by undefeated UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt vs. former Team Alpha Male teammate and current top contender T.J. Dillashaw. Neither is particularly inspired at trash talking, and the latest TUF 25 teaser gives no indication that that has changed.

Sample:
Dillashaw – Cody’s just such a hot-headed arrogant ass.
Garbrandt – TJ’s a dickhead.

However, the pair compensate via sheer animosity. The same way heart and will can overcome technique and skill, Garbrandt and Dillashaw cannot stand each other, and that will likely be entertaining enough to overcome any shortage of witty wordplay.

Take this for example. First, the UFC teased a meme-inspiring screenshot.

Now the UFC has released a teaser video that includes the video.

The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption was officially announced on January 15, 2017, and will debuton April 19, 2017 on Fox Sports 1. The season theme is former cast members returning for another shot at glory.
