UFC releases 6 fighters including Pokrajac, Damm
he UFC has released five fighters following at least three consecutive losses: Igor Pokrajac, Rodrigo Damm, Tom Niinimaki, Mike Rhodes, and Sean Soriano.

The UFC has released six fighters, including Igor Pokrajac and Rodrigo Damm.
Igor Pokrajac: Lost last five, to Vinny Magalhaes, Ryan Jimmo, Rafael Cavalcante, Marcos Rogerio de Lima, and Joey Beltran (overturned due to a failed drug test).
Rodrigo Damm: Lost last three, to Rashid Magomedov, Al Iaquinta, and Evan Dunham.
Tom Niinimaki: Lost last three, to Niklas Backstrom, Chas Skelly, and Renato Carneiro followed, all by RNC.
Mike Rhodes: Lost last three, to George Sullivan, Robert Whittaker, and Erick Silva.
Sean Soriano: Lost last three, to Tatsuya Kawajiri, Chas Skelly, and Charles Rosa.
Alexis Dufresne: Failed to make weight for her last two fights, vs. Sarah Moras and Marion Reneau, losing both.
The UFC does regularly release fighters who do well elsewhere, and then come back. Further, given the growth of the sport, and that all but one fighter lost three in a row, it appears as if the world’s dominant MMA league is not cutting back heavily at present.
