With one of the most impressive performances of her career at this past Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 224 event, Mackenzie Dern has been rewarded with a move up on position in the promotion’s official strawweight rankings.

After downing Angela Hill (15-13 MMA, 10-13 UFC) via clearcut decision, Dern (13-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) passes fellow Brazilian Marina Rodriguez to move up to the No. 7 slot at 115 pounds in the latest rankings update.

Despite the setback, Hill stays firm in her position at No. 14.
