While the night’s featured fights endured their share of controversy, two athletes did make big strides at this past weekend’s UFC 282 in Las Vegas that were reflected in the promotion’s latest official rankings.

Undefeated featherweight Ilia Topuria (13-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC), who scored a dominant submission win over Bryce Mitchell (15-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), moved up five spots in the UFC’s latest official rankings and now sits at No. 9 at 145 pounds. Following the loss, “Thug Nasty” slides down two positions to No. 11.

Meanwhile, Dricus Du Plessis (18-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) scored a hard-fought decision win over Darren Till (18-5-1 MMA, 6-5-1 UFC) and moves up four spots to now hold the No. 10 position. Meanwhile, Till slides down five notches and now sits at No. 15.
