While his latest fight didn’t go the way he might have hoped, Chris Curtis can still take some pride in being a ranked athlete in the UFC.
With Uriah Hall‘s announcement that he is walking away from the sport and subsequent removal from the promotion’s official middleweight rankings, Curtis (29-9 MMA, 3-1 UFC) now debuts on the list at No. 15.
“The Action Man” last saw action in July, stepping up on short notice to take on Jack Hermansson (23-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC), who sits at No. 8 in the rankings, in London. Curtis came up short on the cards in a rather frustrating affair. Prior to the setback, Curtis had boasted an eight-fight winning streak.
