Ari Emanuel, who runs WME-IMG which purchased the UFC last year for aproximately 4 billion dollars has established a new holding company named Endeavor which will encompass:
•The WME and IMG talent companies;
•The UFC;
•Professional Bull Riders;
•Miss Universe;
•the ad agency Droga5;
•the comedic management house Dixon Talent;
•the artist management and consulting agency The Wall Group;
•the arts and media company Frieze;
•the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague; and,
•the e-sports league ELEAGUE.

Emanuel co-founded a talent agency in 1997 named Endeavor. In 2009 that firm merged with the William Morris Agency to become WME (William Morris Endeavor), which represents some of the greatest talent in Hollywood. Then the New York-based fashion and events company IMG joined the fold and WME-IMG was formed. And now the parent company is back to endeavor.

WME-IMG represented a pivotal moment in our company’s history, but it does not accurately reflect the extent of our diversity or indicate where we’re headed, said Emanuel in a statement. In creating Endeavor, we now have a holding company that represents the very definition of the word itself, constantly striving to push boundaries on behalf of our clients and owned properties.
