UFC offered GSP fight, GSP turned down

At the post-fight press conference for UFC 183, Dana White was asked if there was any word on a potential return of Georges St-Pierre. Not the answer fans wanted:

“GSP – I called GSP. Yeah I did ask GSP if he wanted to fight in that fight (card). He said ‘I haven’t even started training yet, Dana.'”

St-Pierre has been retired since November of 2013 after defending his welterweight title against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167.
