UFC hiring Conor wrestling coach rumor denied

It has long been anticipated that something written on the Internet would turn out to be false, and apparently it has finally happened.
Elite Daily, the self described “Voice of Generation Y” spoke with Frankie Edgar, who is quoted as saying the UFC had hired a wrestling coach to help Conor McGregor prepare for UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos.
“The UFC hired [Olympic gold medalist] Jordan Burroughs to be his wrestling coach,” said Edgar, allegedly, to Sean Levinson. “He knows that’s his weakness. It’s not something you learn overnight, especially wrestling. It’s a feel-type of sport, takes time.”
If the UFC was handpicking elite coaches for a fighter, it would be highly irregular. As it turns out, they apparently are not.
Burrough’s wife took to her social network and shot the rumors down definitively.
